TNW Corporation Railroads Again Recognized with“Jake with Distinction” Safety Awards

TNW Corporation is pleased to announce that two of its short line railroads, Texas North Western Railway (TXNW) and Texas Rock Crusher Railway (TXR), have been recognized by the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA) for achievements in safety for the third year in a row. 

Jake Safety Awards are based on excellence in safety performance for the previous year; and Jake with Distinction Awards are based on no reportable injuries per Federal Railroad Administration rules. Last month, ASLRRA announced the recipients of the 2024 awards, which are to be presented at regional meetings this fall.

Safety is one of TNW’s four Core Values; the other three are integrity, servant leadership, and quality.

TXNW has been in operation since 1982 in Sunray, Texas, and is a TNW One-Stop Supercenter for Railcar Services.

TXR has been in operation since 1988 in Brownwood, Texas.
