TNW Corporation is pleased to announce that all of its short line railroads, Texas Gonzales and Northern Railway (TXGN), Texas North Western Railway (TXNW) and Texas Rock Crusher Railway (TXR), have been recognized by the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA) for achievements in safety. (Check out what our team accomplished last year!)
Jake Safety Awards are based on better-than-industry-average safety performance for the previous year; and Jake with Distinction Awards are based on zero Federal Railroad Administration-reportable injuries. On May 29, 2024, ASLRRA announced the recipients of the 2023 awards, which are to be presented at regional meetings this fall.
Safety is one of TNW’s four Core Values; the other three are integrity, servant leadership, and quality. TNW Corporation Director of Safety Jacob Noe says, “I am proud of our people earning these awards for our railroads. They work hard to keep each other safe and they deserve this recognition.”
Texas Gonzales and Northern Railway (TXGN) has been in operation since 1992 in Gonzales, Texas, and is a TNW One-Stop Supercenter for Railcar Services.
Texas North Western Railway (TXNW) has been in operation since 1982 in Sunray, Texas, and is a TNW One-Stop Supercenter for Railcar Services.
Texas Rock Crusher Railway (TXR) has been in operation since 1988 in Brownwood, Texas.
