TXNW Railway, TXGN Railway, and TXR Railway Join a Global Network of Stewardship-Committed Logistics Partners
TNW Corporation is proud to announce that all three of its subsidiary Texas short line railways — TXNW Railway, TXGN Railway, and TXR Railway — have joined Operation Clean Sweep® Logistics (OCS Logistics), an industry-led program dedicated to eliminating plastic resin loss across the global supply chain.

The membership recognizes TNW's commitment to responsible rail logistics at each one of its subsidiary Railways. TXNW Railway, operating in the Texas Panhandle since 1982; TXGN Railway, serving south-central Texas since 1992; and TXR Railway, anchoring the Camp Bowie Industrial Area in Brownwood since 1998, now all carry the OCS Logistics designation — a distinction that signals measurable, verified action to prevent plastic pellets, flakes, and powder from escaping into waterways and the broader environment.
Operation Clean Sweep is administered by the Plastics Industry Association and represents the world's largest voluntary stewardship program of its kind, with more than 5,000 members across 60+ countries. The OCS Logistics track is specifically designed for trucking companies, railroads, warehouses, and distributors that handle plastic resin as part of the broader supply chain, making TNW's membership and commitment meaningful not only as a company milestone, but as a direct assurance to the shippers, manufacturers, and chemical producers that rely on TNW's network every day.
"Our plastics customers in Texas need confidence that their supply chain partners are holding themselves to the same standards they are," said Paul Treangen, Chief Executive Officer of TNW. "Joining OCS Logistics isn't just about compliance — it's about being the kind of partner our customers can trust to protect the integrity of their cargo and the communities we serve. When a shipper chooses TXNW, TXGN, or TXR, they can trust that our operating teams follow industry best practices to properly handle the plastic products in their supply chains."
TNW's three railways collectively serve as critical first- and last-mile connectors in Texas, interchanging with BNSF Railroad and Union Pacific Railroad at key locations across the state. The company's One-Stop Supercenters at TXGN and TXNW — home to the largest privately-owned railcar storage capacity in the United States — along with a variety of railcar services at multiple sites, positions TNW as a full-service logistics and SIT storage partner for industries including plastics, chemicals, agriculture, and manufacturing.
The OCS Logistics membership adds to a growing list of operational and infrastructure achievements for TNW Corporation, which recently completed $8.2 million in infrastructure upgrades at TXNW Railway, and continues to expand its industrial development footprint across Texas.
