On February 15, TXR Railway was privileged to welcome Representative David Spiller (TX-HD 68). During his visit, TXR employees engaged in discussions with Rep. Spiller, highlighting the operational benefits TXR provides in Brownwood and its vital role in the area's economy. Joining the occasion was Ray Tipton, Brownwood's Economic Director, who also commented on the significance of TXR Railway for the City of Brownwood.
TXR also shared with Rep. Spiller our achievement of maintaining a seven-year record without any injuries, demonstrating the commitment and diligence of our employees and TNW's Core Value of safety. Rep. Spiller, an advocate for rail funding in Texas and for TXR Railway, reaffirmed his ongoing support for our endeavors through potential grants and other resources. Rep. Spiller was given a tour to see one of our newly painted locomotives, where he kindly posed for a photograph.
