Sales Specialist
Reporting Locations: TNW Corporate Office in Dallas, Texas
The Sales Specialist for TNW will be responsible for supporting sales development processes and assisting in the achievement of sales goals for TNW Railroads and Logistics. This position will provide frontline interface with our customers; execute and support sales department processes; construct and report on market research reports relevant to current and potential service offerings, and build customer relationships which align with TNW’s strategic goals. Strong communication, ownership, and people skills are a must.
The Sales Specialist must be an entrepreneurial self-starter who embodies our core values of Integrity, Servant Leadership, Quality, and Safety. The position will report to the Director of Sales who will provide collaboration and resources necessary to align efforts and support sales growth.

Position Summary
• Utilize current digital tools effectively (Microsoft Teams and Office, CRM and others) for successful customer engagement, onboarding and account maintenance
• Maintain detailed and organized files, contract data and information systems, including utilization of Customer Relationship Management Software
• Execute inside sales processes to productively support accounts for Railroads and Logistics
• Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards that have been established (key performance indicators)
• Perform market research to identify opportunities by focusing on consumer requirements; defining markets, analyzing competitors’ share, and outlining their strengths and weaknesses; forecast projected business; and recommend market share growth goals
• Adapt to business and economic change of TNW and its customers to enable continued revenue growth
• Attend and present in meetings with sales team
• Develop and maintain account planning template for Railroads and Logistics
• Attend regional, annual and customer meetings regarding logistics business and railroad industries
• Sustain rapport with key accounts by making periodic calls, visits, exploring their needs, and identifying new opportunities. Handle daily tactical requests and escalated service concerns.
• Coordinate and collaborate with various departments to implement new or improve existing railroad or logistics services
• Prepare and present internal reports regarding assigned customer’s business and financial impact to the company
• Improve product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities
• Protect TNW’s value by keeping key data confidential
• Comply with TNW Core Values and alignment with Strategic Pillars
Position Responsibilities
• Minimum of one year’s experience working in a sales role
• Bachelor’s Degree in sales, marketing, business or related field preferred
• Transportation, railroad and/or logistics services industry experience preferred
• Sales experience in a small to mid-sized company preferred

Licenses and Certifications:
• Current driver’s license with clear driving record and no restrictions. Must have the ability to operate company vehicles, rent vehicles, and the ability to drive long distances
Availability:
• Full-time position
• Must be able to travel – 10%-15%
Position Requirements
• Work is mainly performed in an office environment and in the field. Travel to company properties, customers, trade shows, trade organizations, and vendor sites may be required. Travel will be in and out of state and involve driving and flying.

• Walking, standing, sitting, and balancing are frequent activities
• Lifting and carrying normal office items
REQUIREMENTS:
• Safety equipment and personal protective equipment must be worn when and where needed
